ASHOKA’S YOUTH VENTURE

Ashoka’s Youth Venture Ashoka’s Youth Venture, a 501c3 non-profit organization, leads an international community of young people who are powerful changemakers. Youth Venture inspires and invests in teams of young people to create and launch their own sustainable, community-benefiting Ventures and then connects them into a global network of young changemakers who are together redefining the youth years as a time of leadership and positive social change. Since its inception in 1996, Youth Venture has launched, supported, and welcomed into its network over 2,500 teams in 14 countries. The StartUp Scramble is part of the organization’s larger goal of strengthening its relationship with and increasing its presence in universities throughout the United States, where the nation’s most powerful changemakers are already working to address community issues that are important to them. YOUNG IMPACT

Young Impact develops and delivers transformative entrepreneurship education events, programs, and media for young people.   First launched through seed funding from Ashoka’s Youth Venture in 2002, Young Impact now partners with schools, communities, organizations, and companies to produce interactive workshops, conferences, seminars, and speaking events.  Young Impact’s flagship event, the StartUp  Scramble™, challenges college and high school students to launch sustainable companies that identify and address social issues affecting their communities in day and weekend-long events.   For more information, please visit www.youngimpact.com and follow us on Twitter @YoungImpact.
